Position Summary
We are seeking compassionate, passionate and reliable Intensive Individual Support Service (IISS) Technicians to provide one-on-one support to children with autism. Technicians work directly with participants in their home or community to help build daily living, communication, and social skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and implement individualized interventions
- Implement individualized behavioral and skill-building strategies
- Assist with structured daily routines and activities
- Use positive behavior interventions and behavior management techniques
- Help prevent or de-escalate behavioral challenges
- Document services and participant progress
- Collaborate with families and other providers involved in care
Requirements
- At least 100 hours of experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (work, volunteer, or family experience)
- Ability to pass a CJIS background check
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals
- Driver’s license
Schedule
Afternoons, Weekend as needed.
